Secure, documented disposal for school and campus electronics.

School districts, colleges, universities, and private schools retire computers and devices that may hold student records and staff files. We collect them, wipe or shred the data, and give you a clear record of each step. Equipment that can be reused goes back to work only after secure handling. The rest is recycled responsibly.

Why schools need documented disposal

Retired lab machines, Chromebooks, and office drives can still hold student information and staff records. Your institution is responsible for how that information is disposed of, and auditors or state reviewers may ask for proof. We provide documented destruction and chain of custody that help schools and campuses meet their data-disposal obligations under their own policies and the regulations that apply to them.

How we protect student data

  1. Step 1

    Custody.

We pick up from your school or campus and give you a receipt that documents what left your hands.

  2. Step 2

    Wipe or shred.

Storage is wiped using recognized sanitization methods, or physically shredded when wiping is not suitable or not requested.

  3. Step 3

    Documentation.

You receive records of the data destruction for your files.

  4. Step 4

    Reuse when viable.

Only after secure handling, equipment with remaining life is tested and remarketed.

  5. Step 5

    Recycle the remainder.

Anything that cannot be reused is broken down and returned to the supply chain as feedstock.

We are working toward R2 certification, and our process is built around those responsible recycling standards today.

Frequently asked questions

Are you FERPA certified?

There is no official FERPA certification for recyclers. What we provide is documented data destruction and chain of custody that support your own disposal policies and regulatory obligations.

Can we require shredding for every drive?

Yes. Many schools prefer physical destruction for drives that held student data. We will follow your policy and document the result.

What happens to equipment after the data is handled?

Devices with remaining value are tested and reused. Everything else is recycled, so materials already above ground stay useful.
